We rescue, rehabilitate and find permanent homes for healthy dogs and cats whose time is up at public shelters. We are also home to War Horse Creek, an immersive transition training program using rescued wild mustangs to assist veterans as they adjust to civilian life.
Sea Shepherd’s sole mission is to protect and conserve the world’s oceans and marine wildlife. We work to defend all marine wildlife, from whales and dolphins, to sharks and rays, to fish and krill, without exception.
Serving as the only fleet in the world whose sole purpose is to protect all marine wildlife, we are committed to the protection and enforcement of conservation law.
In a world where crises abound and heartbreak is in every community, people who want to help often don’t know where to turn. Together Rising is where to turn.
Whether it’s pulling children out of the sea outside the refugee camps in Greece, helping abandoned kids on the streets in Indianapolis, establishing the first opioid recovery home for pregnant teens in New Hampshire, building a maternal health wing in Port-au-Prince, providing a single mother access to breast cancer treatment, or keeping a foster family’s heat on in Texas—Together Rising identifies what is breaking the hearts of our givers as they look around their world and their community, and then we connect our givers’ generosity with the people and organizations who are effectively addressing that critical need
The Genesis Project is a Seattle-based registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization that exists to offer hope for a new life to young women and girls involved in commercial sexual exploitation (CSE), prostitution, and sex trafficking. The mission of the Genesis Project is to provide needed services to survivors of CSE and sex trafficking in a three phase approach including immediate shelter, education, job skills training, and long-term safe houses. Ultimately, this love, support, and care will draw women toward a future of hope.
Our Drop-in Day Center is dedicated to serving female survivors of prostitution and sex trafficking. We do this with a small team of dedicated case managers and with the help of volunteers, law enforcement officers, state legislators, churches, community groups, FBI task forces, and international partner organizations.
